Food is NOT allowed on the ALS experimental floor (the red painted area).

Beverages are only allowed in areas designated by ALS staff with signs that look like this:

At Beamline 1.4, the only area where drinks are allowed is at the bookcase outside of the 1.4.3 hutch.  This means you can leave your drink on this bookcase while you are working, and return to this location to get a drink when you want.  Food and drinks are not allowed anywhere else at our beamlines.
